How TDEE Is Calculated
It's no surprise there is a formula to this but it's pretty simple once you know how it works. This is calculated by determining how much your body is doing while at a resting state and then based on your level of activity - we adjust. Your 'resting state' is called Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR. We take that and multiply it by the activity level you have and what you're looking to do. If you're in an active lifestyle it's going to be different if you're just staying in COVID Quarantine and not running around outside. Either way - this provides the way for you to figure out what you need to do to achieve your goal.
